Arbitration Experience

Mainly, my experience in arbitration is:

As counsel:
–     International ad hoc arbitration combining Luxembourg’s New Code of Civil Procedures and UNCITRAL rules seated in Luxembourg in relation to the MAC clause of a Share and Purchase Agreement (Real Estate Dispute) between European companies;
– Domestic ad hoc arbitration combining Luxembourg’s New Code of Civil Procedures and UNCITRAL rules seated in Luxembourg in relation to the alleged non-performance of a contract. The same contract led the parties to these proceedings to a further arbitration with a European company.

As counsel assisting foreign counsel:
–     International ICC arbitration seated in London in relation to the breach of a loan agreement in the context of a joint venture company. The arbitration involved individuals and companies from the Caribbean, Western Asia and Europe. The applicable law was English but the issue required assistance on Luxembourg law.
–     International LCIA arbitration seated in London in relation to a securitization transaction involving the issuance of notes. The arbitration involved Western European companies and a Eastern Europe company. The applicable law was Luxembourg law.

As Arbitrator:
–      Served as arbitrator in a domestic ad hoc arbitration in a real estate dispute. Luxembourg law applied and the seat was Luxembourg.
